Occoquan has long been known for its antique shops, riverside views, and small-town charm — but until this June, the historic district didn't have a store built specifically for men. Drew's, a new boutique at 125 Mill St, Suite 3, is changing that.
The shop was founded by husband-and-wife team Sonja and Drew, both Air Force veterans, around a concept they call “The Modern Rugged Gentleman.” Every piece is hand-selected from a curated list of boutique wholesalers, the owners said, to offer a mix of apparel and lifestyle items that bridges outdoorsy and gentlemanly style — think real-leather briefcases and traditional grooming gear alongside playful finds like smoking cocktail kits and men's emergency kits.

The idea grew out of the couple's own weekend habits. One of their favorite things to do, they said, is explore charming small towns — and Occoquan became a regular stop for dinner and shopping.
“As we browsed, we realized the town was missing a boutique specifically geared toward men,” Sonja and Drew said. “We strongly believe that men deserve more representation in the retail space. Just as women have beautifully curated stores dedicated to them, men should have that same elevated shopping experience.”
From there, they said, the idea just grew — and the town has embraced it.
“The town of Occoquan has been incredibly warm and welcoming to us,” the owners said.
