Wonder, the rapidly expanding multi-restaurant food and delivery platform, is opening its newest Prince William County location at Smoketown Station in Woodbridge, with a grand opening set for Thursday, Sept. 17, and a ribbon cutting scheduled for 10:30 a.m.
Wonder's model lets customers place a single order pulling from more than 20 restaurants and cuisines at once, available for dine-in, pickup or delivery. The concept features dishes from celebrity and award-winning chefs, including Bobby Flay, José Andrés and Marcus Samuelsson, alongside restaurants like Tejas Barbecue, Streetbird by Marcus Samuelsson, Magnolia Bakery and Di Fara Pizza.
“Guests can order dishes from 20-plus restaurants and cuisines in a single order – available for dine-in, pickup, or delivery,” Wonder representatives said in a news release. “The new location offers a flexible, family-friendly option for everything from weeknight dinners to group gatherings.”
To celebrate the opening, the first 100 orders of $10 or more will receive a Wonder Swag Bag, according to the release. Wonder is also partnering with The Capital Area Food Bank on a roundup donation program at the new location.
Wonder Smoketown Station is located at 13257 Worth Ave., Woodbridge, VA 22192. According to the location's page on wonder.com, orders there carry $0 delivery fees, and residents can sign up for the opening-day waitlist to get advance notice of opening events and exclusive deals. The company already operates a location in the Signal Hill Shopping Center in Manassas, along with spots in Leesburg, Reston, Sterling and Alexandria.
Wonder describes itself as a mealtime platform built to satisfy every craving without compromise, combining delivery, pickup, dine-in, meal kits and chef-driven food innovation in one experience. Its multi-restaurant ordering system allows customers to mix and match dishes from multiple chefs and restaurants in a single order — something the company says no other platform currently offers.
On its website, Wonder describes its mission as making “great food more accessible,” saying it searched the country for standout chefs and restaurants before building its platform. The company also lists food-sourcing commitments, including using seasonal and organic ingredients where possible and sourcing meat and poultry raised without added antibiotics or hormones.
The concept has drawn national attention, with coverage from outlets including Forbes, Bloomberg, Eater and The New York Times.
