Lovesac, the home furnishings brand known for its customizable Sactionals and Sacs, is now open at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center in Woodbridge. The showroom, in a 1,524-square-foot space, opened Friday, Aug. 7.
The store lets shoppers try out Lovesac's modular seating in person, including its Sactionals and Sacs, along with the StealthTech immersive sound system built into select pieces. More than 150 fabric options are available, and the furniture is designed to be reconfigured as a household's space or needs change.
The showroom itself is built around that idea. Wall displays walk shoppers through the materials and construction behind each piece, a touchscreen kiosk lets customers browse fabric and configuration options, and full room setups — anchored by deep navy Sactional sectionals — show how the modular seating looks in a finished living space.

Lovesac was founded in 1995 by Shawn Nelson, who built the company's first oversized foam-filled Sac in his parents' Utah basement while a student at the University of Utah. The company later developed Sactionals, its signature modular sofa system, and now trades publicly on the Nasdaq under the ticker LOVE. Lovesac markets its furniture under a trademarked "Designed for Life" philosophy, positioning Sactionals as investment pieces meant to be reconfigured and passed down rather than replaced, and backs them with a lifetime guarantee.
The company also points to a sustainability angle behind that durability pitch: it says it has repurposed more than 180 million plastic bottles into Sactionals upholstery fabric since 2018, through a partnership with recycler Repreve that turns the bottles into yarn, and it ships orders in recycled cardboard packaging.
The opening adds to the home and lifestyle mix at Stonebridge, the Kimco Realty-owned shopping center that has also drawn recent additions like GameOn bar+arcade and Bebop Korean-Mexican Grill. With three new concepts landing at the center this year, Stonebridge appears to be leaning further into experiential and lifestyle retail alongside its existing shopping and dining lineup.
Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center is a 500,000-square-foot, grocery-anchored lifestyle center anchored by Wegmans, offering a mix of shopping, dining, entertainment and services in Prince William County.

Shoppers can also order free fabric swatches before buying, and Lovesac offers free shipping and a 60-day home trial on orders, letting customers try a piece at home before committing to it.
