What’s on the Ballot

Every registered voter in the county will see three proposed amendments to the Virginia Constitution, plus federal races for U.S. Senate and U.S. House. Depending on where in the county you live, you’ll also see one of two different congressional matchups.

Three Constitutional Amendments

•      Reproductive rights: Would protect abortion and reproductive health care decisions, including birth control and miscarriage management.

•      Marriage equality: Would constitutionally protect gay and interracial marriage.

•      Voting rights: Would automatically restore voting rights after someone convicted of a felony completes their prison sentence.

U.S. Senate

Democratic Sen. Mark Warner is seeking a fourth and final term against Republican challenger Bert Mizusawa.

U.S. House — Depends on Where You Live

Prince William County is split between two congressional districts, so your ballot will show one of the following races:

•      7th District (Woodbridge and much of the county, stretching south through Fredericksburg): Democratic incumbent Rep. Eugene Vindman faces Republican Doug Ollivant.

•      10th District (Manassas, Manassas Park, and parts of western/northern Prince William, along with Loudoun, Fauquier, Rappahannock and parts of Fairfax): Democratic incumbent Rep. Suhas Subramanyam faces Republican Dave Beckwith.

Not sure which district you’re in? Look up your sample ballot at pwcvotes.org or vote411.org.
